We have an exciting program planned for our July meeting! Join us on Saturday, July 20, as we welcome author and private investigator Bruce Alterman, who will discuss his research into the exploits of prohibition-era gangster Dutch Schultz.

Mr. Alterman is a 4th generation Licensed Private Investigator with over 30 years of fieldwork experience and is currently providing investigation services in the New York Metro area. In addition, he has written several novels, including "Fear In Phoenicia, The Deadly Hunt For Dutch Schultz's Treasure," about a daring expedition for the rumored treasure of infamous early twentieth-century gangster, Dutch Schultz.

Mr. Alterman’s investigation concerning Dutch Schultz’s time in the Catskills and Ulster County has been featured on The History Channel (William Shatner's "The UnXplained") and Discovery’s Expedition Unknown. He will discuss his findings, including new evidence suggesting that Dutch Schultz’s treasure has been located, as well as shocking stories from his work as a private investigator.

A limited number of books will be available on site for purchase. Please visit Mr. Alterman’s website at www.brucealterman.com/ or his author page on Facebook for more information on his novels.

This program is free and open to the public. It will begin at 1PM at the Plattekill Grange Hall, 127 Church in Plattekill (Wallkill for GPS purposes).
